Bowmen of the Tors is a Plymouth based archery club shooting three times a week at Notre Dame School in Derriford.

We’re a small club with a big personality, boasting a huge range of members from 10 year old juniors to our honorary members who set the club up some 40 years ago. We are lucky enough to have access to both indoor and outdoor facilities all year round, with the capability of shooting up to 100 yards outdoors.

Our coaching team run 3 beginner courses each year and are on hand to offer support and advice to all members,  shooting a range of  bows from recurve and compound,  to traditional the English longbow.

Annually, we run two tournaments – our Agincourt Shoot which is a longbow fun shoot with Western rounds in the morning and a fun shoot at the French themed targets in the afternoon.  We also run an Open tournament with York, Hereford and Bristol rounds in the morning and Nationals in the afternoon.

Our Committee of volunteers meet regularly to run and develop the club – we are always open to new ideas and people getting involved!
